I am an abstract painter.
I am influenced by the colors and energy of my life and the life around me; the nature, my family, my life of travels and the humans I meet, the countries I lived in and the ones I have visited… whether a source of laughs or tears, I try to absorb and depict them whole.
I seek to create abstract paintings as an exercise of letting go. As the viewer, I want you to feel that raw emotion, that energy and how it interacts with everything around us. My paintings do not have to necessarily be something you already know or are able to figure out. Do not think too much and do not try to intellectualize art too much. The raw is what it is about. No superfluous qualifiers, just a true emotion.

Born in France and raised in multiple countries of Africa, art has always been part of Swann’s education. She paints in an abstract style, in acrylics, using multiple layers to enhance the texture or manipulating the stunning effects of the resin.
She has participated in multiple group and individual exhibitions across the San Francisco Bay Area and her art is part of private and corporate collections from USA to Europe, Canada, or China. She recently painted a heart sculpture for the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. After being publicly showed at Union Square, San Francisco, it is now featured on Genentech Campus.
